Gus has been brewing up a special blend of tasty in-or-on sauce for a few years now. He took an old family recipe, had a play, and now with a little help from his lovely lady Jill, he’s making it yours.

 

Created from 100% fresh New Zealand garlic and all natural ingredients, Garlic Stuff is your chef-y answer to everything – and being available in gluten-free means we can all enjoy the stuff! Simply sploosh it into whatever’s cooking or onto whatever’s on your dinner plate. It’s pure garlicky gold with meats, salads, seafood, as a marinade, and anything else that could do with a flavour tickle-up.

 

Keep Garlic Stuff within easy reach for a stroganoff with more sass, quiche that’s more spesh, or lamb cutlets really worth wrapping your laughing gear around. It even adds a bit of posh to fish ’n chips and it’ll definitely put more phwoar into that gourmet chicken dish you’ve just found online.

Stories don’t get more Kiwi than this. A good, practical bloke from South Canterbury, Gus grew up enjoying hunting, fishing and all those outdoor pursuits that have shaped many a fine country lad. Wide open spaces. Freedom. The wind blowing through his hair and teeth. Young Gus loved it all. It led him to farm work at one of New Zealand’s treasures, Mt Nicholas Station. 

 

It was here, during a high-country muster, that Gus first tried his hand at cooking. He loved that too. Up before the dawn chorus each day he kept the workers’ collective bellies happy with country tucker cooked to perfection in camp ovens hung at just the correct height over the fire, using nothing more sophisticated that varying lengths of good old Number 8 wire. How Kiwi is that.

 

In search of rich flavour, it was the same sort of can-do that led Gus and his lovely lady Jill to tinker with an old family recipe for a magical garlic sauce that would soon be in high demand. Gus’ garlicky goodness went into anything. Over everything. And to family, friends and anyone who wanted it. And pretty soon every bugger did, including the lucky ones who snatched it up at the Women's Expo and the Healthy Food Guide Gluten Free Food & Allergy Show in Christchurch.

 

Hence, Gus Burns’ Garlic Stuff is today available to kitchens and discerning taste buds throughout New Zealand. Get it. You're food and tastebuds won't know what's hit them!
